Mrouter won't install! — Sony Ericsson P800, P900 and P910

Has anyone had problems installing mRouter on XP? both PCsuite software off the CD and 1.42 off the SE site stop at 50%, and the mRouter setup file brings up an error report.

I've tried everything from removing the XP hotfix files, safe mode, shutting down all startup and system services and still the ba***rd won't install!!! :evil:

Can anyone help!! This is driving me mad... SE support said I won't even be able to beam files by IR or Bluetooth without it. So it looks like I'm going to have to buy a MemoryStick reader to transfer files unless this can be fixed.

Any help would be VERY much apreciated.!

no probs... just got a Dazzle card reader and using that. fuck the software :evil: ... obviously not tested well enough!

Plenty of people are running it under XP, so there's obviously something more to the problem on your PC.

It would help to know exactly what the error is.

And you certainly DON'T need to install any software to be able to beam files by IR or BT.
