Okay so far i can recieve emails but thats it. i cant send any except to myself

username:
nnewman

incoming:
[email protected]

outgoing:
[email protected]

i dont see why it doesnt work? can anyone help.
i also searched before i wrote this post but found nothing.

you probably need to set up the outgoing mail server via your mobile operator:

my mobile operator is Movistar (Spain), so my smtp is configured:

smtp.movistar.es

I found this configuration not via my operator (they were full of exotic suggestions) but via the Nokia national helpline. Ask for "data", and since there are only a few mobile operators in each country, they know the configuration for each one.

Liverpool lad is correct you will need to use the SMTP server for the provider of your access point, most ISP SMTP servers require authentication. So unless you dialup to to them and authenticate with your username and password you will not bea ble to send.

If you are using your mobile operators GSM / GPRS connection as an access point then use their SMTP server address. Mine for T-Mobile UK is smtp.t-email.co.uk

Good luck
