Anyone knows if the 9210 can connect to mac?

Thanks in advance

Lunatic

Sorry, no way. The Symbian os doesnt like the Mac os. If this should work i would be selling a lot more of 9210i...

thanks for the answers but in the nokia site there's software for the 9110 to link mac. It's not the same?

I have a 9290 and a Mac. I move files between my Mac and my communicator using the removable MMC card. An MMC reader for my Mac (that connects to the USB port) cost me about $20.

You cannot sync PCMail or contats this way but you can load software (.sys files very fast). I also load html web pages that I want to view offline on my phone.

export all your contacts under Palm dt or Addressbook as 1 file, extension: .vcf and download the program below to your 7650-3650 (P800 support coming)
Inside the program you can import all the data. The 7650 (failed also on p800) can not open container vcf or vcal files, with this program it can open those container vcf files. Now we all have a mission; we need the same for vcal files so we can export our entire calendar as vcal and import everything on the 7650-3650. PLEASE everybody write a polite email to [email protected] and ask them to add this feature.

I am using a 9210i with a Macintosh G4. It seems the only solution is to use an mmc card reader to transfer files between both machines. And to synchronise, well, no other option than RealPC as an emulator.

I really like Nokia helpdesk in France. They are reliable and always polite on the phone, so it is difficult for me to express hard feelings on them. But there is really much more than lack of information on the compatibility of those two platforms. When you ask them about Macintosh, they seem to freeze. How many times have I heard by a competent technical adviser :" You have a Mac ? Well, you can't even transfer the content of your mmc. It doesn't work the slightest way. Don't even try to try.".

I wonder If Nokia had hard time with Apple, which strategy is sometimes "ambiguous" when it comes to partnerships. But if a software was developped for the 9110, it means that it was technically possible and not to expensive.

Why shouldn't it be the same for the 9210 ? Does anyone knows the number of machine they sold all around the world, by the way ?

This should work nice for the Mac [got one as well you see]

I must say I regret the fact that there is no PC Suite for the Mac, but I don't miss it anymore...

I also use the SIS files from the net, put them on my MMC and install from the device...
