Hi, I'm trying to get this image from my phone, I know it is stored in Z:\system\Data\startup.mbm but if I try to copy that file on my pc and I try to disassemble it with bmconv.exe it gives me a weird error (bad file). I had no problems with all the other mbm files I've converted in all these months! It looks like the startup.mbm animation (the one with the hands) is protected in some way or it's in a weird mbm format. My goal is to get all the .bmp out of it to make that animation as an animated gif image (I need it for a site I'm creating). Any help?? Thanks in advance...
Startup 7650's animation...
I think the Z: drive is read only and you can't change it, it's part of the firmware, only way would to be to change the file then flash it on with the rest of the operting system.
i have the same problem. but "mbm whizard beta" make some image but look like "random pixel rumors" 😞 so i think that in startup.mbm there ara many .bmf file in not standard format. 😞

Do not THINK IT, BE POSSITIVE ABOUT IT, it's ROM memory. So, no changes allowed AT ALL!
woooo, sorry! 😉
