MSI USB Bluetooth Adaptor/Dongle — Nokia 3650, 3660, and 3620

Guys,

Scan Computers have two different MSI units, the cheaper class 2 "BTOSE" and the Class 1 "MS6967.

Can anyone confirm that either/both work properly with the 3650 and PC Suite.

I just bought the MSI "PC2PC" Bluetooth "Transcieving Key" (Seems to be the MS-6967 if I look at the MSI site...)

It works like a charm with my 3650 and PC suite..

I ordered MSI dongle. I haven't heard anything but good of that dongle. Works with 3650.

Getting my 3650 next week... Can't wait.

I got the same one - it works like a charm, yes, but the Nokia PC Suite, connection manager and mRouter software are probably the biggest POS I've ever had the misfortune of installing.

When will Nokia get it right, I wonder?

They release phones with shonky firmware and then their support software looks like it was knocked up in Visual Basic 3 during someone's lunch hour! 😃

If you do get the dongle from Scan, it does work well when you get it going. However, your PC will see your phone. Your phone will see your PC. Your Nokia software will see smurfs doing the conga before it recognises you even have a phone.

In short the AI of the Nokia PC suite was designed to emulate that of the Iraqi Information Minister.
