This is old news,i think, the jacket was on sale on p800er a while a go.Have you tested it,or anyone else for that matter.

I was not sure too,but i've seen it on couple of website that were advertising it.The Memory Stick Duo when used with the p800 does not stick out of it,right, what about the jacket,i dont find it really practical sticking out like that,or maybe the images are just for show purposes?

I can't believe it would stick out like that but stranger things have happened. I've already got a 256Mb stick so I might well get one of these. Expansys are pretty good on returns as well.

Cheers

I'd imagine that carrying cases would have to be redesigned for these jackets. The only added advantage I can see is that one can use their internal duo stick along with an external stick.. I could understand why these are not released yet. The firmware has to support the larger file size. Since there are 1G mem sticks I'd imagine that the P800s would have to go through a few more revisions before it handles them.. So becareful that you read the white paper specs on this. It may have a mem stick size limit on it.

Just curious, have anyone tried using a 256MB, not MS Select which you can switch, on the P800? What happen?

Heres more of an idea on how the jacket works, looks like a pretty good idea, if only someone else can translate what it says.
