using an external modem for the nokia 9210i

Do anybody succeed in using an external modem (infrared or not) in order to surf on internet with a nokia 9210i using a phone line?

Thank you for your response.
It is not exactly what I was looking for because I wanted to have direct access to a phone line from my 9210i thru a modem.
But even, by searching on the forum, I found the following article http//my-symbian.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=240
By reading it, it seems that it's possible to use a PSION infrared modem.
