Why is everyone going mad over the 128mb duo and hunting it down like poachers after ivory when u can buy two 64mb duos and with the money u save buy a memory carry case tooo?????????????????????

Because they want to put more than 64Mb worth of music on the card? (And not have to switch cards all the time)..

Just a thought 😉

😮

Um, I think it's the inconvenience of having to carry mem sticks around and swapping it all the time.

I bought a 128MB stick duo from www.p800er.com for 78 and I'll be honest, I would never consider a 64MB stick, even if it was for 40.

Same with my Muvo mp3 player, you can fit almost 30 songs on a 128MB player (which I bought), but only 12 on the 64MB player (after formatted, there'll be 60MB left).

128MB is the way to go!!

Once you start using the p800 as a pda 128 is almost enough.. for mp3 player its tight.. and for playing movies its just silly..

dunno, you can fit at least 2hrs on one stick - just depends if you want anything else on there as well. When the 128 comes down in price I will have one stick for movies and one for general data.

I'm based iin the UK and considering a 128 stick from p800er.
Do you have to pay tax etc. I note the price is something like 94 including air mail recorded delivery?

I'm also interested to know how everyone transfers the data they want to the phone because the usb station is never usb speed. I would imagine to transfer say 30mb of data would take over30minutes????

Well as for me, I already have 1 128 stick and Im getting one more as soon as I can afford one 😊 I wish there was a switchable duo coming out 😞

It's basically pot luck.. I didn't have to pay tax, others have had to.. Mine was marked as a gift though, and with a value of $50, which meant it was inelligable for tax..

Basically, it's a lottery I'm afraid, as to whether you get a Royal Mail person who can't be bothered, or one who's name is Jobsworth..

And for transferring data, I use either a multi-card reader, or the MS slot on my Sony laptop..

Well I wouldn't like to switch either!!!! I ordered my 128 as well, it should be in tomorrow!

BTW "MR Man", what makes you say that 2 64's are cheaper than 1 128??? At p800er or brando a 64 is $70 and a 128 is $120. When I do my math correctly, 2 64's are $140, 1 128 is $120....
Oh, if you really don't mind switching "MR Man", why don't you buy 8 16MB cards 😃 😉

Thanks for all ur comments, i am going to buy a 128mb now, i know a shop in london where i can buy these so will but one tonight, jus wanted to see ur response and i definately can see the 128 is much better. Tnak you
737 UR A JOKER, no need to funney u dummey

Bwahahahaha 😊 Or 16 8 mbs? 😃

You wont regret getting the 128 😊 and once you start downloading the movies, oi! it wont be enough!! 😊

OR... when you can get 128mb for $57-75 USD a pop why bother buying 64s. I passed on 64s that were selling for $45 USD, but never considered it. I knew I would run out of memory. That's why I bought 2 128s.. I'm at 92% capacity with the second one already. I use the P800 more then my Ipaq which I maxed out a 1gig flash on already. I find myself overloading the P800 with software and media files.

So buying 2 sticks to compensate for what 1 can do is not effective. How would one propose playing a 120mb media file on 2 sticks? You can split it, but is that really practical? I can't wait until the system can break the 128mb limit.
