Multiple Bluetooth Connections on P800

Does anyone know if the P800 bluetooth spec, profiles support using multiple bluetooth devices simultaneously? Whenever I have my P800 connected to my pc (using Sony Vaio usb bluetooth dongle) I cannot take calls using my SE HBH-30 headset - I get message saying connection to headset lost. anyone else have this, or/and any solutions?

Thanks all! 8)

Also looking at page 13 of this pdf it looks as though 128 mb MS Duos won't be the largest size the P800 supports.

Only one device at a time bro. Hey thanks for the white paper, you should post that on another thread, its very usefull 😊

Thanks for the reply, however, looking at the symbian documentation (http://www.symbian.com/technology/standard-blue.html) it appears as though multiple connections can be made in Symbian 6.1. I know the P800 is Symbian OS v7, however, I would imagine they wouldn't remove this functionality.

Maybe SE just haven't implented this functionality. Pity if not as would be cool if able to use some navigation software with bluetooth gps and mak/recieve calls using bluetooth headset while driving.

Well, You can have multiple connections, meaning, you can pair it with as many devices as you want but you will not be able to use them at the same time. Maybe this is what it means? Not really sure. All I know is the P800 can only take one BT device at time, tested it so many times already
