Rayman 3?
Vill Rayman 3 on N-gage look different then on Nokia 3650?

I love Rayman 3 on my Nokia 3650!! 😉
I hope so. They could draw plenty more animation frames and more complex backgrounds now when the available memory isnt as much a problem as with other phones. 😊

Memory is still 4mb, processor is not yet confirmed, but probably the same spec. I doubt games will look any different - it'll just be more comfortable on a landscape machine rather than a portrait.

So is the MMC so slow that you cant fetch textures/frames from it? And there is more memory...because the game you play isnt installed in the main memory. 😉

More memory on a Symbian device doesn't mean faster applications like it does on a PC - although loading textures et all will speed things up.

What exactly is landscape...am I missing something?

I think landscape = horizontal (N-gage)

😊

Looking at screenshots and promo pics i'm quite sure that the ngage uses the same screen and also screen orientation, can't see any landscape support there.

[edit] sorry, didn't get that landscape reffered to the case of the device rather than screen orientation, my fault [/edit]

Hi there,

I don't know where everybody gets his information, but all the answers I see on this page are for 50% true. You can get a lot of questions answered on the nokia forum and the N-Gage webpage.

What amazes me more is that one of the senior admin's provides answers that are not accurate. Example: the processor has been made public, the admin. says not. But this info is available at the nokia forum.

The reason I know all this, is that I work for NOKIA.

So please people go to: www.forum.nokia.com and register for free!
You can also visit the original N-Gage webpage: www.n-gage.com

(1) Well it wsn;t a month ago when I posted that

(2) Speaking to Nokia NGage managers they still hadn't decided on the final processor speed.

(3) I wouldn't be surprised if the licenees ask for more proc speed before launch anyway.

Faster processor indeed, bunch of namby pambys. When I were a lad you got half a meg of RAM and an 8MHz cpu. If you have limitations, code better.

have you played the java version of rayman?
and the processor of the n-gage is not faster than the 3650 one
