could have been assembled better!

I've had a 3650 for about 2 months now, and I must say I love it's software, (V. 2.50 that's giving me no trouble at all) it's good res. camera, and the fact there are so many apps to install and fill up the extra 16 Mb (thanx mainly to the earlier and successfull 7650).
What I really dislike, and this is something that REALLY bothers me, is the impression of having a phone built with very cheap plastic, and an assembly that doesn't make the phone feel sturdy enough. The screen surface is full of scratches (just cleaning the screen scratches it!!), and I had to insert three small thick pieces of paper to fill gaps that made the cover wobble to much (by the way my phone never fell). I think all this has to do with the changeble covers Nokia used on latest models. Plastic is shit maybe because Nokia thinks users will change covers every 3 months. Well I won't. In the past I've owned a Nokia 6110 and a 6210. Both were much sturdier and robust phones, materials were better. And if the cover happened to get ruined you just brought the phone to a Nokia center and got it replaced, even without changeable covers. What a shame...

yeah! it's a 3 series phone that falls under fashion category.

anyway, the features of this phone is better compared to those other phones.

I totally agree my friend! 😊

I also agree. This phone has great features that are not only far better than the other 3 series phones (it's obvious), but in most cases are even better than Nokia 7650 (triband, better quality pics, higher speaker volume, longer lasting batt., extra memory, lighter weight) and in some cases even SE P800 features. That's why it's a real shame Nokia did not put some extra quality in the materials.

Have any of you experencied the problem that the phone turns off, if you keep it in your pocket? I have, a few times already. And so have some other owners. The weird thing is that when I "slap" my phone nothing happens, but like I said sometimes when I keep it in my jeans pocket it turns off. personally i think it's a certain type of pressure on the phone that makes it turn off. Though once a friend of mine slid it towards me over his table and it also spontaneouslly turned off.
If only Nokia could make a thin titanium cover.....

Thanx for the tip! I just cancelled my account in the gym, to protect my phone from future harm 😉

are you sure it's about that?

Maybe you've installed something on your phone that caused this to turn off... coz happened to me also.

But if not, then, follow jamella's advice 😊

gym>workout>muscle enhancement>tighter pants... 😊
Dunno about the software, ST@RR. What did you install that caused it? (and did removing it, help?)

hmm... I ended up uninstalling everything! hahaha! coz I got frustrated when my phone turns off... even when I'm talking to somebody. I still don't know what caused the problem. My wild guess is the Camera FX... but not sure.
