OPL games to N-Gage

Hi,

I was reading some msgs in the new section for SX1 and N-Gage, and Ewan Spence said something about OPL games written to the N-Gage.

Are there so many differences from the other Series 60 machines ?

I was thinking that a OPL program for Series 60 would work on N7650, N3650, SX1, N-Gage, etc.

Yeah he was able to install the vexed series 60 version without any changes or problems 😉

So series60=series60 😊

Indeed, I checked a lot of the tech stuff out with one of the Nokia bods, had a look at the guts, and as far as the OPL Runtime will be concerned, the nGagew is the same as any other device. Things like the xtra buttons and keys will need to be checked when we see a machine for a decent time, but for the moment any Series60 app will happily run.

Thanks people,

Now my 4 Smuggers elephants are more happy, they will smash Rayman and Sonic... eheheh ! "Smuggers" with zoom mode is coming to work well on Series 60 screens.

Any date to have a S60 emulator for OPL apps running ok, so I don't need a real S60 smartphone to test ?
