I use Athlon XP CPU... I don't think it will burn if you have enough fans for the air flow.

Oh dear... my MSI mother board burn and sent for servicing... it will take weeks..... shit man!!!! I will not have net access at home for time being!!!! :x

Did you have fans on your case? Did you overclock your CPU? Anyway, this company is an official distributor of AMD... they studied a lot on it so that things like this won't happen. There's a forum page also there so you can ask your questions there regarding this stuff. This is a filipino company...

Thungs like this should not happen with the XP,i have two MP's (Dual) one one PC,and a Duron on the other PC at home.MP's are allmost the same with the XP,and i use really cheap fans for cooling with no problems.Well, sometimes i get the annyoing beep, when loads of taks are started(encoding movies,mp3's,burning a cd,and playing quake in the same time) and they pass the alarm temperature but nothing more.

i have 2 PCs that run on AMD 1800+ they have been working fien for the last 7 months

yeah... I guess you just need to setup AMD systems in a right manner. Coz they heat up really fast. Consider the airflow and put the right thermal paste(arctic silver or something)...

My PC have 4 exhaust fans, and i did not over clock the cpu chip as it's already fast already and i did not need to do that.

It's very strange that my main board fried... never happen to any of my pc b4. My the other pc which serve me well for the last 5 years was a AMD K6 266. It have never been power down ever since it came into my house. 1 year ago i only change the power supply to 350watt. And do some upgrading on it RAM and harddisk.

This new one have problem!!!! I am so piss off with it!!! Keep giving me auto rebooting!!! even on bios level!!!!!!! DAMN!!!!

Anyway the main board is on its way to AMD factory for a replacement... so i will not have net access at home for the next God's know when!!!!!

Good news! My main board is back! I will be getting my computer to be fix on Sunday and hopefully will be playing game all day long!!!!!!!! Pay back time!!!
The mystery behide all the auto reboot problem... is the freakin power supply!!!
