Right does anyone know of there will be a fax program for the p800.
Sure many people dont use it, but seems to come in real handy for me!

Im on Orange in UK, and tried to set up a fax number.
Orange told me that the p800 does not have a fax modem
nor does it have any software to trick it. 😞
this really is a RTFM moment - page 166 "Your P800 does not support fax transmission.....However they can be diverted to another number such as the office fax machine"
The Vodafone SIM seems to let me set up a fax call diversion to an alternate number, whether it works or not I don't know, never sent myself a fax to find out. The redirection seems to happen at the network end, however, how does it know?
My fax at home connects to a phone line through a normal jack.
Could be a POTS circuit, or via an ISDN modem or into a telephone adapter for broadband.
So which bit of the circuit detects that a fax is originating the call, or does it actually have to pick up and listen to the line?
Anyone know the answer?
