Hello All,
Firstly, I carried out a search and only found one match, but with no solution!
I would like my P800 to be able to sync to my Exchange 2K server remotely via GPRS. My phone is set-up with Vodafone gprs -- I have a PIX firewall and a DMZ. Can anyone give a white paper or guide lines that explains what software I need to create a VPN or remote sync the two systems? I only need e-mail, calendar and contact synced.
Thanks in advance.
Me too.
/Trev

The ONLY solution I have found is this...
Extended Systems (UK/US)
One of the guys has been looking at it for me, but he was talking about licences costing 10,000 for 50 users. That was for the "advanced product" (his words, not theirs), so it might be that there are cheaper alternatives.
If you just want to sync one phone I doubt it would be economical to do it this way.
Post back if you get anywhere with this because I know there are other people interested. I'll do the same.
Just spoke to them about pricing...
10 user licence for email/contacts/calendar (basically anything you can see in Outlook, incl Public Folders) costs 1,500.
The "50 user minimum" system does a whole load more - sync'ing almost anything (e.g. ODBC databases etc).
Thank Chris ... I'll give these guys a call.
Hi,
I have the same problem and asked this question some month ago but no one here was able to answer.
It seems, www.certicom.com is developing a solution for VPN access for the P800, I guess it could help us:

Thanks
I down loaded movianVPN version 1.0, but this wasn't compatible with the P800. I think it was written for the Nokia Communicator range?
The Certicom stuff could be interesting when the P800 version is available, but I can't tell whether you can just use their client, or whether there will be more to it (like a sync server as used in the XTNDConnect system).
Have to wait and see
