Where is it in the phone? Needed to call some geezers that would have just stashed my number to try and annoy me later with some fabulous offer, but couldnt find the withhold own number thingy!

Yes it does:
After you punch in the number and before you press send, press the application button on your flip (the one that looks like a miniature pop menu). One of the options will be "Hide my own number"
This does not work however when you're using a number from your contacts which is kind of irritating

Forgotten about that option because I always use contacts to dial. :-?
Presumably, you could store the contact with the #31# prefix.
