I have an application compiled for the Nokia 7650, which uses Symbian 6, and I would like to install it on a SonyEricsson P800, which uses Symbian 7; unfortunately, when I try to install it I get an error message, something like: "The application you are trying to install is not compatible with your phone.".
Does anyone know how can I use it? Is there any converter or emulator?

nope, there's no emulator or converter.
Program creator has to write a port to P800 which requires slight/some changes to work. Without it you won't be able to run this app.
No app can be transfered between different symbian versions without recompilation (and some changes in source code)
