about the groups, is that so, like if i wanted sdoubler to zip up the videos folder too, i add a new groupd under the name videomms and then select the video folder, choose depend on video mms, and then save and exit and will it zip up the videos too? or does it do something completely different
Using SDoubler
It works similar to that:
1. Create new group as you said
2. Add the Application folder "C:\system\apps...."
3. Add the Data folder e.g. "C:\videos..."
(4. Also add libraries, recogs, programs, etc. which belong to the app. Be careful with that, especially if you use autostart)
5. Save the group
6. Compress the group (from the "program" tab of sDoubler, not the "group" tab)
That's it. Whenever you start the VideoMMS application, all videos are automatically uncompressed, too.
This is exactly the reason why I prefer sDoubler over Stacker. Hundreds of kBytes more to save!!
wow, thanks, i was right then. i can't think of a suitable vid to put onto my phone, it can be upto about 1 meg +/- but i just can't think of what i should put on it.
Is there a way of doing it the other way round with sDoubler?
That is, if you receive a file into your inbox, then you open it ** with the associated app compressed?

damn, i added a new groupd, under videomms, added the videos fodler in, and now when i unpack the videomms, it takes up 1002 kb, but when i zip it up, it takes up 845 kb, but the video file itself is around 740 kb and videomms packed on it's own is 105 (about) and so it's only zipped up videommsn and not the video, and when i try to zip up the video folder itself without depending on anything, it says nothing to compress. ???
