Anyone know of any blogging client software for the P800?
I was thinking that it would be the perfect device, but I want to be able to write a number of short pieces and upload them altogether at some convenient point.
I could do it online I suppose, but this seemed easier and cheaper (GPRS costs a fortune in the UK)
Any ideas?
it would be easier to set this up server side. simply compose an email with the post, even a photo attachment.
the email needs to be to address that is set up in your server software to run a script if the mail is from a certain recipiant or contains a certain subject line perhaps.
the server side script pulls the email and posts the information in to your weblog.
Im pretty sure this could be done using perl.
While it';s not announced, the Symbian Diaries (a blogging site for Symbian users) will allow you to email blog entries directly into your blog as if you were posting online. Email myself and I can get the details on setting up your blog and the email 'pipe' for you and anyone else who wants one - there's plenty server space.
