Please ppl tell me as i want xtra mem n im sure ova ppl wil want dat 2. So ppl is it possible n how much? Thanx

Nope, certainly not possible as far as I am aware. Perhaps he has some compression software on there? If so and you want to find out about it, there are plenty of topics about it in here.

It is possible to archive data on 7650 sDoubler or ZipMan can do that
so u may "double" your memory ... well not quite double but u can pack and free some space for other programs 😊
Yes,it does exist, its called 3650,in other words,NO,the guy is probably scaming you.
I totally agree! impossible...

Not impossible, many people upgrade the memory in pocket pc's, and firm's offer these upgrades, though it does require physically replacing the memory.

The memory chips are usually just standard and they just put a bigger one, sometimes of course a bit of software to cope, I read a review of a guy who upgraded his Casio ppc from 16mb to 128mb.

This subject has been treated many time before in this forum. I don't think you can reach 8MB using neither Stacker nor SpaceDoubler. Maybe someday we'll see a BT HDD running, but still not a solution, for the phone can run only programms that are located in the C: drive.

I'd go with JOBBIGER on this one. 8MB is possible, but only if you open the phone and tweak it or replace the memory. Even then the OS/SW might not recognize it or the system could become unstable.

In any case it wouldn't be any standard upgrade.

** Magic **

Well, like deathmonger said, this has been threaded many times, and replacing the memory chip is not that easy, there are loads of other issues, memory addresing is one,big one too.So if anyone doesn't have something real that works in the moment i dont see a point in this discussion because probably it has been covered before in similar threads.

believe it or not it's possible to have 8MB, but it ain't gonna be so easy..

Here's a screencapture of app. manager

@WaRe,i have seen a video of a 7650 using MMC (Which was fake by the way) so this is not that hard to produce(the image showing app manager)

Hi Guys,

Following this one of my friends found a company who were able to format an unused section of flash memory which stores the BIOS for a PALM Tungsten. This resulted in about 3 or 4MB (I think) of space which can be seperately manipulated\used to store data by the Palm.

He contacted them regarding trying this with 7650 and apparently they were quite interested in looking into it. I will try and get some more info on the company etc and i will post it as soon as i do... If lots of people contact them it may push them to hurry it up...

Ah yes,i remeber this one,it it has been discussed before but with no results. If it can be done it would be really great.

Why don't you post their e-mail so we can contact them.

ghostdog yeah you right that image manipulation is easy thing to do...

But when you change larger flash chip on to 7650 board and find a person who edit phone's software to make it work that's not easy...

and finally order unofficial flashbox some net site you found, then but all this to work its like *hooorei* 😮

And no you don't have to believe me on this because there's no way that I can prove all this.

I'm not sure if the 7650 CPU will be able to adress the extra memory,so you are right,i don't have to believe you 😉

Ware, why would you go to all that hassle just to get an extra 4mb ? why not put 16 or 32 or more?
