MP3s on 7650 - Problem with MP3Go - alternative program?

I seem to remember reading a post that went something like this:

I have sent mp3 files via bluetooth to my Inbox, but I can't open them on my 7650, they don't appear in the mp3Go directory, and I can't open them direct from the Inbox.

Someone replied something like this:

Yeah, I had that problem. You need to download this mp3 player instead, from **LINK**

I followed the instructions and downloaded the alternative mp3 player, and it worked fine. (Obviously I couldn't play big files)
Since then I've lost my mp3 player, and I can't remember where I got it. I searched on here for that post but couldn't find it. Can anyone help me?

Thanks

Dan

About the mp3go, you can cut and paste the mp3 file using File explorer. IT's in the Mail folder... so, cut and and paste it on the folder where you want it to be saved.

About mp3player, sorry, I also forgot the link. A little search on the net will help 😊 like "mp3 player for 7650".

Thanks for that, I'd been searching for "MP3 player", but I needed to search for "MP3Player". Found it on some Viking site. I'll try that thing with MP3Go as well, hopefully the sound quality will be better.

Shame we can't expand the 7650's memory. Although apparently there's a way of making mp3 files smaller, by reducing the band size or something. Anyone know how?

Well you could try reducing the quality. It's kinda complex to explain.

ei i got the same problem...and for me the only solution is to change my fone to 3650 w/c has more sufficient memry...but it doesn't fit my taste.....hehee...im still thinking

whoa. it's sick, any ideas how to just use the mp3 player without having the book readr and other stuff too?

i'm having some problems with mreader,

i've got a song, converted it to WAV (from mp3) i erased any parts i didn't want from the song, thn silenced one channel of sound, then saved it at 16/8 wav file, then opened the file in sound recorder and saved it at 16/8 mp3 file, it is around 400 for the whole 4 minute song at this point, when i put it onto my phone with mreader, it doesn't recognize the file, i think it might be because the bitrate is too low as it recognizes another song i have at 22/32 but lasts 1 minute for 200 kb, ideas people

If you intend to listen to mp3's on your 7650 my advice would be to give up. I've tried every format available and all the programs (Mp3Go, MMPlayer and so on...) None output a decent audiable sound so, I think only 3650 users can have such pleasure....

i know how to do it, i figured it out, check out the other thread which i created regarding mp3s on the 7650, i've got them to 300-500 kilobytes and the quality is decent. i'd be glad to send you one of the songs i have compressed so you can see for yourself if they are good enough or not. in my opinion, they're very good
