PC Suite 1.5.1 on W2K Pro freezes PC solid when sync'ing/BT

When I try to sync (even just my contacts) using PC Suite 1.5.1 over BT to a Windows 2000 Pro PC with Outlook 2000, the PC freezes solid. Not even any response to toggling NumLk, I have to hard-reset the PC. The sync runs for a little while, displaying "starting..." and then the PC freezes.

I think the BT connection is good because I can browse the P800's files, copy MP3s P800 <-> PC and install software to the P800 by double-clicking the .sis file in Windows.

The PC has been rock solid for ages, no crashing or reboots (really!) 8)
The PC is at SP3 and with all the latest patches from Windows Update.

Anyone else seen this?

Do you have Outlook set as the default mail client? If you don't, trying to sync will freeze the computer though anything else works OK.

So I meant Outlook, NOT Outlook Express as the default mail client.
Do you have Outlook set as the default mail client?
Hi,

Yes, I have. Outlook is the default mail client, there is only one MAPI profile on the machine and that profile is selected in the Sync settings.

As a test, I brought the USB cradle/dock home with me and connected it to the same PC. Sync'ing the P800 over USB works fine, no problems and no freezing.

Anyone else seen this problem? Sync'inc over USB works fine, sync'ing over Bluetooth freezes the PC solid. What's going on here?
