i have stacker on my phone.
whats the difference between stacker and sdoubler?

any other ways to save "space/mem"?

kim

Both appl work the same way. Only difference is that they are from difference company.

Another way to save your space is to install appl that you will only use and delete all your MMS msg soon after you have save them to your PC or delete them.

Don't keep too much wav or midi files unless you need to use them all for your ring tones.

Hope these advice helps....

Stacker & sdoubler released new versions at the same time, quite recently. There have been a lot of posts on "which is best" and their respective functionality - do a search on this forum & you'll get a lot of info very quickly.

another tip, create a group of files that is the "install" folder, where all the sis files are. that'll save another (depends) 70-90k, just remember that if you want to delete any app, you must decompress this folder first (otherwise they will not even appear in the app manager list)

Great tip, Paul. Thanks for sharing. With sDoubler you can even automate this task by assigning the install folder (group) to program manager. After that just open program manager as you would normally do and sDoubler uncompresses all SIS automatically. After you close program manager, they are compressed again. Works great!

onthe same lines above, say for example you had the video app on your phone, you can make sdouble automatically zip up the videos folder when you are not using the video app and when you open the video app, it will automatically unzip the videos you have on your phone.
