can anyone tell me how to delete all my contacts from my p800?
its very tedious to click on each contact & detele one by one.
i cant seem to find any way to delete the whole contacts database?

the only otehr way would be to do a complete master reset. but then i will have to put all the software again...mp3's, ogg's...software.
thats too much work as well.

please....someone help!!

Get Contacts Control 2.0.4 from www.My-symbain.com (or similar)
This little utility allows you to highlight the contacts you want to delete and delete them all in one go (without a confirmation warning though so be careful!). You can also compres your contacts store and get summary information on size, the number of folders and contasts etc.

Sorry above post was me - I wasn't logged in automatically for some reason)

and it is of course www.my-symbian.com rather than the typo above! 😮ops:

yeah i know i just figured that out...did that & it worked.

by the way its also wierd that when you get a cal & you want to add that to the contacts , you cant add that to an existing contact, it wil only make a new contact...just using up space.

This Link seems to be dead ? has it moved?

@Special,

have you installed ContactControl 2.0.6?

in CC, tap on the dropdown menu -> Show Entries
then tap on the rightside dropdown menu -> ICCEntry (SIM) and tick on the contacts you wish to delete.
