This thread included a poll: Dr. Who - Should BBC bring back?

YES! BRING IT BACK!

I thought Paul McGann made for a good Doctor and he should be given the chance to take the role further, but I would also like to see Sly McCoy given a chance again because he really did start to do some good work. His first season was a disaster, but that was partly due to stupid plots! I mean come on! The Happiness Patrol!? Please!!!!! Rememberence of the Daleks was good as was Silver Nemesis.

I reckon that there's a conspiracy against having any decent SciFi role models with a British English accent. Unless they're American, they're not allowed on the telly.

I say bring back The Doctor, the TARDIS (far more advanced than even the latest Enterprise), the Daleks, the Master, the Cybermen, Silurians, the Meddling Monk plus all the others (like the Sontarans - didn't they do a guitar album or something)?

Ok, so I've really exposed myself as an anorak, but I promise, I never went to any conventions and I've only visited Longleat twice in my whole life!

Although I am a fan of Star Trek, weren't the Cybermen and/or the Daleks the basis of the Borg?

But the Borg didn't have to worry about any stairs as they had Transporters! 😃

I'm in two minds.

It was a great series of its time but would a modern version work?

Bringing back the dead can have disturbing results.
