Cheaper but slower and requires line of sight. Bluetooth is the better option and is now very affordable 😊

Rob.

I've been on a few WAP sites, but when i click on the SIS file it says "WAP error file unknown" or similar. How do you download them from there??

please send me the those list of sites, so i can download them using my wap. thanks you so much guys

Do that and you'll be wasting your money. BLUETOOTH is FAR MORE USEFULL while it provides your PC with a COM PORT you can use to communicate your PC with a PRINTER, a CAMERA, a BT HEADSET etc... (and you PHONE obviously). IrDa is slow, uncomfortable....

BT is worth the money, every single penny I may say. 😃

What you can do is to setup your e-mail in your phone.

Example, get a new free account from an e-mail provider (that has POP access). Set it up in your phone. Now, send the file as an attachment to your phone e-mail. Check you e-mail then the attachment then that's it. 😊

Hi,

If your getting an error while trying to retrieve your email it's probably due to the connection settings not being correct.
Go to Tools - Settings - Connection - Access Points and click your email connection to view the settings, in my case it's Tiscali so I click this.
Then scroll down till you get to "Gateway IP address" and this should read "0.0.0.0" If not change it to this.
I have read about a few people having this trouble and it is through this not being set right.

Hope this helps, let us know how you get on.

Ian

hey there.

What is your e-mail provider? Do you have a pop access acount?

Anyway, make sure that the Incoming mail server is correct e.g. pop.hotpop.com. Also, make sure that the Mailbox type is set to POP3. Make sure that you are not connected to your pop account using other application in your PC, you would not be able to login. Lastly, make sure that you send small e-mail attachments only so as to make sure some files could come in instead of failure of a big e-mail with multiple attachments.

If you need more help to configure it, you don't need to go to greenhills and pay for it. A lot of Filipinos in this forum who'd help you.
