i sold my SE P800 & bought the 7650 again.
i am just not the type to use handwritting recognition...what can i say its an awesome phone but not my kind... i need a keyboard or a proper keypad as well.

im loving the 7650 now...

I did look at the 7650 when it came out and I like a lot of the features, but it felt really flimsy to me. The thing that really put me off it was that the keys were so small I could hardly press them without using a pencil.

I'd be interested to know what it is that you like about it compared to the P800.

8) what i like most about the 7650 would be the sleek design of the phone which got the camera lens covered/protected when u dont use the camera...

 what i hate most would be the memory... so many apps around for so less memory... thats is sad...

UP's for the 7650:
1. nice design
2. easy to use-good navigation through menu.
3. less complicated menu
4. light & proximity sensors
5. T9
6. Signal Catching-better
7. video camera
8. much more software
9. Profiles
10. Proper keypad.
11. Picture Quality better than that of the P800.
12. Very Strong Vibrator - better than the P800.

Down's for 7650:
1. Bad battery Life
2. No memory Expansion.
3. BT audio
4. Small Buttons on keypad
5. Power Button - Flimsy

Ups for the P800:
1. Better Battery Life then the 7650
2. Memory Expansion - (the best part of the phone)
3. Touch screen - this is gud 4 ppl who like handwritting recognition rather then keyboard...(im not one of them)
4. BT is better
5. Better Web Viewer
6. Better Speakerphone
7. Better Accessories as OEM
8. More playable sound formats.
9. Video Playback
10. Lots of future software development

i'll add more stuff as & when i remember...

Well, like I've said before the P800 is not for everyone. I used to own a 7650 too, but after I got my hands on a P800 I couldn't even look at the 7650 again. There is not one thing I miss from the 7650, the P800 is just so much better all over, and in a whole other league. Never could I go back to Series 60 after UIQ, no matter how many great apps you can get for it.

The only possible competitor, and possibly my next device, would have to be the next Communicator.

This is all just my opinion of course. Different strokes for different folks. 😊

I have to agree with Raven. I used to own the 7650 and 3650. I prefer the 76. But after i got my hands on the new P800, there was no looking back. Well i too am looking forward to the next Communicator. I am sure it would be a kick ass device, though Nokia seems to have no plans yet to come out with one

infact i hear from a nokia guy that nokia will be releasing 2 new phone by end this year..
1. communicator type with keyboard & touch screen
2. the other one on the lines of the p800.

I totally agree with Raven, different strokes for different folks.I really like my 7650 and i will never part it,but i'm geting a p800 also,i think they belong to a different class. The p800 is more official, job like, and the 7650 is more fun, easy to use sort of device.

The rumour is that the communicator succesor will be announced in autumn.
