ya u can download the SIP stack plugin From nokia website at

http://www.forum.nokia.com/main/0,,1_44,00.html

Also few documents related to API's specification are available.
SIP plugin comes with a game called chipflip which will be useful to understand the stack better.
U can run the stack on Series 60 emulator.

Hi I want to know are there any SIP APIs for UIQ phones, is it possible to have a VOIP call through Symbian OS SIP phones.

A VoIP call would with most cellular operators over their cellular (packet data) network probably be much more expensive than a regular phone call (and probably less reliable and with poorer quality and less services such multiparty calls, etc.).

It might make more sense with a WLAN connection in some situations (but there are no UIQ phones with WLAN, only Nokia's 9500).

Hi,

I have an unlimited 3G contract for data which means that if anyone could advise me concerning a SIP softphone working with my 6680 I would be the happiest guy on earth !!!!!!!

Thank you !
