Hey People,
After upgrading my P800 to R2F, I noticed a "Demo" in the application list. Clicking on this, a screen came up showing the calendar and then it runs through a little walk through of the phone. Its cool to watch once, but now its time for me to uninstall it, problem is I dont know how... I have used the application bar and pressed uninstall but the "Demo" application does not appear there - I am at a loss.
Anyone have any ideas? Has anyone been able to uninstall it?

So, go to control panel in applications, select Storage Manager, select uninstall and presto, demo will be in the list for you to uninstall.

I tried that but alas, everytime I click on the 'Demo' listed in the Storage Manager list, it actually opens the 'Demo', without giving me the option to uninstall it. When I click on the uninstall tab, "Demo" is not listed to uninstall, only programs that I have installed myself are there.

I got the same situation. Just use File Manager to Delete the "Demo" folder under c: and it's gone with everyelse normal.
Ok now just checking, using file manager to delete "Demo", wont corrupt any files or anything like that???

Try swicher 1.5 or SMAN10 to end the task, Then try to un install.
In case this does not work.

I don't understand the first comment - In my main apps screen, I selected 'Applications' from the menu bar, 'Uninstall', the Demo App was in the list and I uninstalled it - no problem.
if u can,t un install it always make sure u have back up your mobile saved into pc for up dated then u can install it if u have problem with it then can,t uninstall it then u can always go back to back up date and click it for old date install of back up and those demo will be gone more easy than sorry for stuck woth demo always up date back up yopur mobile to pc
The "swicher 1.5" and "SMAN10" are two softwares you can download for free, and install on your P800.
With any of these you can end task of any of the programs you have opened on P800.
When you move from application to another on P800 the previous stays oppened and does not close automaticaly.
I deleted both the Chess and Demo (which no uninstall is available) after the upgrade with File Manager. So far 2 days are gone and everything normal.
I have had the same problem whereby the "demo" does not appear under any of the uninstall windows.
Simple solution... try it! No need for "switcher" or "sman" or whatever. Dun even need to mess around with "file manager" which could be dangerous for those unfamiliar! Dust off that cd-rom which you got with the phone when you first bought it, re-install the demo from there into ur phone, then "demo" will appear in any of the uninstall windows (be it under "applications' or "storage manager"😉. Then you just uninstall from there!

Thanks for your info, the only problem is that the Demo did not exist on my phone when I purchased it. It only appeared after I upgraded it. I have yet to check the SE CD's but I doubt the demo, chess and solitare would be on there. I will have a look and let ya know how I went.
