A suggestion

I just noticed that although I'd done a review of RMR Push it was not listed in the software section.

I'd like to suggest that when we agree to do a review we check to see that the software is in the software section and if not submit it? It might be a good idea for news posters of new software to also do the same?

I take it that the software listing submissions go to Rafe. If that gets to much, is there some way we can help out perhaps we could post them directly?

On the software section, there are plans afoot to evamp that section completely over the summer - when things a re a bit more concrete (ie our esteemed webmaster works out how to pull it off) we'll need a fair bit of help for a week or so.

Till then, great idea!

Yes, I agree, I emailed Ewan about this only a few hours ago. Spooky 8-)

Being reviews editors should mean we get access to the software directory as well, then we can kill two birds with one stone etc.

Steve

Funnilly enough I was discussing about the software section with Ewan a week or so ago. It would seem something is in the planning stage and should reach us in the near future.

Indeed something is in the planning stages. If it works, great. If not, the Software Directory as is will need ( I suspect both the reviews editors and two more regualt maintainers).

The planning thing should reduce this workload to one moderator.

Spooky indeed

Lets hope the planning thing works then 😃
