I usually compile my jokes & graphics in outbox. I send it all when it reaches around 400, no problem with my 9210. Since i sold my 9210 and bought a new 9210i, sending batch sms has never been a headache. It starts to "resend at xx:xx" after sending around 50 sms then afterwards "not enough memory" then everything fails! Formatting the unit solves the problem temporarily then the problem comes back! Has anyone experiences this? I regret the upgrade!
9210 better than 9210i
Don't regret the upgrade! Have you tried closing all active apps? Try downloading "switcher" (freeware) to controll your apps and use the max ram you need...
Let me know!!...Even I upgraded from 9210 to 9210i and was very happy! 😉
yes you are absolutely right...even i think that the 9210i is NOT as god as the 9210.
in the 9210i you have to put in all the software in one memory location which means that the phone wil naturally run slower , but in the 9210 the running memory was freer & all apps & data was tucked away in the MMC.
But if you buys a MMC for your 9210i, then you wil kick ass of the 9210, then nothing else compares to it. but then again you pay that much extra, but its definately a price worth paying...
my choice would be the 9210i with ba 128MB MMC...what else can you ask for.
the phone can and will not get slower when all the apps are installed in the same storage.
They should actually be faster because the internal storage is faster than the mmc.
Running memory has nothing to do with the "c:" drive.
Only way a 9210i can be slower than a 9210 is because of bad software, lots of data which is open all the time... bad management?
I love the fact that I could place all my apps on the internal storage and then switch my mmc for music, video ...
If I take my mmc out (on my 9210) half of my apps are gone ...
I also regret upgrading to 9210i, there's no significant improvement just making my wallet thinner. With 9210 i could store 600+ sms in my outbox, select all then send all (i call it txt atak) which is impossible with 9210i. You could only select and send abt 20 sms at a time with 9210i, selecting all 600+ sms at once would result to lack of memory then total failure. I think 9210 is better in this department.
I am used that ppl talk serious around... 😊
How can be 4 Mb better than 8
Come On ppl... get into reality 😉
exactly and the 9210i has the letter i attached to it. I don't even know what the i stands for. 9210i(nteresting)? 9210i(lovemyphone)? 9210i(dontthinkimmakingsensenowbye) 😃
...and esteticly it's nicer thanx to the gray buttons... 😃 😉

for sure i agree with u 😃
By the way...in march I up-graded to sw version 5.54
Yesterday I took it to up-grade to 6.00
I can't wait to have it back!!! 😃 😉 8)
hi guys, it's been awhile since my last post, anyway i've been reading som of the archive stuff here, and seriously i got to wonder just what does the "i" stand for? 9210 'improved" perhaps??? 😮
"i" usually stands for injected, so maybe the people posting about slow performqance with the 9210i have been using the wrong grade of gasoline in it.
yeah right why the hell ask idiot type questions, how the can a old phone b better than a new one? NUT! Stop wasting space on this message board with silly questions or tryin to increase ur replys 😮ops: 😮ops: :-? 😮 😮
😉
