i've been trying to copy mp3 files to my phone and hoping that it will auto convert to wav file hence using it as ringtone but i don't realli know where to copy to...there isn't a sound folder under my memory card so where should i send it to?

Either
C:\Nokia\Sounds\Digital
or
E:\Sounds\Digital

If you don't have that folder on your MMC ( E: ), make the folders...

I BT'ed an mp3 to the mmc but it would not play. I wonder about eav files, would they be playable?
The closest I came to playa regular song as a ring tone was when I used recorder.

mp3 files can only be played if you have 3rd party programs like mp3go, mp3player,etc. As for the wav files, yes, the 3650 can play it... no question.

hm...yep,i know 3650 can't play mp3 file without any 3rd party software but i thought they hav a "auto-converter"?well,thats what i read in the forums...anw i'll try copying it to a new folder...so if it works i can just play it in my recorder right? 😃

I think the PC Suite has auto converter... but not the cellphone and those 3rd party apps... but I'm not sure though. And yes, you can play the WAV tones in your recorder...
