Well,i guess you can conver the mp3's in wav using gsm or some other standard but the quality will be a lot worse.Ogg player would be nice, but on the other hand, the 3650 has mono output, not very good for music listening.
What about the .amr file format?
I forgot about that one,but the quality would still be worse.
Really? I encoded some files from .wav to .amr, the file size was really small and the sound quality was pretty much the same.
really??what software did you use j2k?
I think it was just called "WAV to AMR" and I got it from the Ericsson web site.
Cheers
i think u can lower the bitrate of your mp3 as i have use on my phone.. normally our mp3 in the pc is using 128kbps with a capacity of 4mb.. if you convert it thru "razor lame" u can minimize the file to 48kbps witha capacity of only 1mb! dpends on the song.. b4 my 128 mb mmc could only handle around 30 songs now i have 80 songs!! but of course the 3650 sound output is not that high as we all know.. but all ok as we only using this thru small earpiece.. cheap but OK!! buy an ipod or expensive mp3 player to enjoy the good quality sound of music!!
u can just convert the audio to a high response rm file and it plays just fine. They end up a bout a meg and its very nice.

You can either convert them to, or download them as .rm files (RealOne Media). each song will be just below 1MB in size.
Hope this will help...
u can convert 2 64kbs 44100Hz, 1 song only 2-3MB
