Setting up P800 on Optus in Australia

Hey People,

If there is anyone out in Australia using the Optus network with their P800 and is having problems with GPRS, WAP, MMS settings just let me know and I can email you how to set this all up. Optus were of some help but unless you speak to a technician, all they will be do is send you auto-setup SMS's. These dont work if you trying to use Opera browser to surf the net (GPRS but over WAP gateway).

So if ya need any help let me know. Sorry cant help with other networks, only Optus.

Yeah. Unless we talk some technical people it is not so useful to talk customer service.

Here they sent me 2 SMS auto setup. One is for MMS GPRS and another one is for WAP GPRS (built-in browser works with this settings but opera does not). So I created one more internet account for Internet GPRS which can be used to browse opera as well as to receive/send pop3/imap mail account.

@Mus

Can you send me the settings, I'm using Optus as well.
Thanks in advance
