Sony Ericsson has included in the firmware upgrade for the P800, 3 applications that I feel just take up space on the internal memory: Chess (which I do acutally play), Solitaire (yeah I play this too) and the hated - Demo. After upgrading my phone I wanted to delete these applications but could not find an option on the phone to do so. It was suggested to use File Manager or Switcher to delete these applications but I found another way, which I feel is a little more safe.
Step 1
Re-install these applications using the Multimedia CD that came with the P800. Make sure that you re-install them to the internal memory. This seems to replace the applications currently on your phone.
Step 2
Open the applications menu and click on the applications tab. Then click on unistall.
Step 3
Listed in the uninstall screen should be Demo, Solitaire and Chess. Uninstall the applications you want to delete. Watch as the unwanted applications disappear.
Step 4
Continue filling up your Sony Memory Stick Duo 128MB with all the MP3's, Vids, Apps and anything else you can think of. 😃
Step 5
Show off your awesome phone to your friends. 😃 😃
Step 6
Sit and wait for the video recorder application to be released. 😃 😃 😃
