On Orange's home page (on P800 in the UK) when using the built in browser there is a new section for streaming videos.
These don't seem to work on my P800.
Do they work for anyone else? Or do you have to use Opera or a normal (not WAP) GPRS connection? (surely not considering they are on their WAP home page)
Streaming video on Orange
these all work fine on my p800 on Orange...
pretty good actually and not a bad selection of video clips!
i'm using the built in brower and the "Orange GPRS" connection - but you
will be using this anyway as it is a html not a wap page.
yep works on mine as well. not really interesting videos but they look nice. hopefully they will include more in their list in some point.
It works for me now.
You have to use your full GPRS connection, doesn't work over the WAP GPRS which I would imagine most Orange users would have as default for the in-built browser seeing as though it's free browsing for 3 months.

I had the 3 month free WAP but I didn't use it as it's slow and even more restricted than Opera/GPRS.
wap may be restricted compared to the internet - but if it has content that you want it is great and over gprs it has been really quick recently
on the "where's my nearest" section there are now maps of the location which is really useful - in london i find it gets my location to the nearest 200m
The free WAP offer doesn't apply if you are using GPRS. So if you are doing so you get the worst of both worlds - restricted content (I'm not saying there isn't anything useful) and you pay full whack for it.
