Problem with email inbox

I'm trying to access my corporate email service. It uses secure IMAP, and is accessible from the public internet. I'm certain I've entered the right info for the mail servers.

I get the following message evry time I try to connect:
General: System error, try again

Any clues?

a lot of times, when i get the general error, i just restart my n3650, and it resolves it..

but this could just be a b.s. answer.
