Is there a mod player (mod, xm, it, etc) for s60? I can't find one anywhere. :-?

About mod music.. A module is one of the oldest music formats. It originates from the amiga (80's) and was quickly spread to the pc too. The file contains note information and a bunch of samples used as instruments. Mods were very popular until mp3s came and people started to listen real music on their pc..

That sounds as the same principle of midi music... midis need a hardware component to be reproduced... don't know if mods do to... if so, the 3650 won't play them unless there's some kind of emulator... never heard of anything, though... try to find a developer that shares the same interest as you...

It would be great to listen to all the Mods i've got in my HDD. But I don't know of such application.

The engine is ready but it's lacking an UI and some other stuff. I'll post it here if he decides to make it a public program 😊
UltraMp3 from LonelyCatGames will play MOD,XM,IT & S3M files as well as mp3. This is the best mp3 player i have used and it is skinnable it also has some funky visualisations.

It's for the newer version of Symbian (S60 3rd). It supports MOD,MTM,XM,IT,S3M and SID (Commodore C64 music). To open files faster copy them in the default directory (E:\MyOwn\Mods\).
UltraMp3 from LonelyCatGames it's for S60 2nd and doesn't work with newer phones that have S60 3rd.
