Hi there just a few quick questions,
im new to all this, i have just got myself a bluetooth usb dongle and can send files no problem at all to my phone my questions is will there be any costs to do this like gprs data or anything.
Also i have seen that mate finder program and if i was chatting to someone via bluetooth would that cost anything.
One last question, with gprs is it the data you recieve you pay for or the data you send?
sorry about all the questions i just need a few things clearing up.
Thanks in advance.
Bluetooth is free, and i think GPRS is sent
thanks for the fast response,
is it ok to leave bluetooth on all the time?
i usually just turn it on when i want to transfer something but if it doesnt cost anything i would assume i can just leave the connection open.
there is not cost for using bluetooth. its as free as using your tv remote to change a channel. 😃

Indeed you can leave BT on all the time for free, but it may reduce your battery life.
As for GPRS, I believe you pay for data both sent and received.
Hope this helps.
Recieving and sending through GPRS does cost money but recieving an MMS through GPRS is free
LOL!! LOL!! 😃
Pal, it's like you asked if they're going ot charge you money for using a cordless mouse or keyboard! Bluetooth has nothing to do with GPRS.
Don't bother at all, IS TOTALY FREE!!
as i say i am new at this.
thanks for the all the help though guys i think i understand it a bit better now.
my provider charges both sent and received data, through GPRS ...
