Memory compatible with Jacket?

I just recived my 'Jacket' for P800 and can now use Memory Stick.. Not only DUO. Now that i already have a 128MB duo i was wondering...

1. Can i use the jacket + duo + normal memstick.. As in a 3'rd drive(think not.. )

2. Can i use 256MB memory stick from twinmos, or is there a limit to size.

That's it 😊 Anoyne tested the Jacket and know it's limits or ?

Well, the first thing you can check for yourself now (since you already have it). But it is assumed by allmost every-one that you can't

About that 256 card, no-one knows for sure, but probably not.

So, if you already had a MS Duo 128, this Jacket is no real use...

What i was afraid of. The jacket is still at post office, i will get it here in an hour or 2 😊

You should be able to use the 256 card as it only accesses one 128mb bank at a time, you have to switch between the two banks. This is providing it confomrs to the memory stick standard...

I've tested the jacket with my DUO stick in adapter. That didnt work for some strange reason?? I'll look forward to test an 256MB Mem stick. If that work.. the P800 can be used as MP3 player also.. 128 is not enough for that and progs.

best way is to take it to the shop that sells 256 and test it 😊 Im sure its a switchable but hey 256 is 256 and your right, 128 aint enoough for aps, games, movies & mp3s. Thats whats confusing me, to either get another duo or just buy a seperate MP3 player.. which would be the SE Bluetooth mp3 player which god knows when this will be released..

That would be no use to you either. The SE Bluetooth mp3 player also uses the Memory Stick Duo, and up til now there is no larger Duo card than 128MB....

Maybe the SE Bluetooth mp3 player has internal memory as well :fadein:

There is a lush looking Memory Stick player that holds 256MB internally and can use a Duo >>> http://www.avland.co.uk/sony/nwms70/index.htm
