Soft Ringing

Hi All

I posted a while back about my 3650 ringing softly when using custom (.wav) ringtones. What happens is the ringtone/song previews loudly, but then when actually ringing, about 50% of the time it rings at full volume, the other 50% it rings very softly. (Yes, the ring volume is at max)

I thought I could rectify this by switching to a standard ringtone. Not true. The phone still rings loudly sometimes and softly others. I have missed some important calls, only seeing the "missed call" and voicemail alert hours later when I actually look at my phone.

Has anyone else experienced this problem? Or am I the only one? I'm going into Nokia today to get them to sort it out, but I don't wanna lose all my data/stuff.. (luckily most of it's on my MMC)

Cheers

yes... i am having same probs... but i think its' universal problem for N3650.... Nokia should make available upgrade profile version....

OK,I KNOW THIS BUG,its not a bug.Yes i mailed Nokia support center, and they told that is so,coz(beczuse)the speaker can damage ear :-? ,its not a joke, its really,so.SO THERE ARE WAYS HOW TO MAKE THE ringing tone louder:1)Turn on VIBRAting alert.2)download RINGtone studio and edit ringing tones,IN RINGTONE STUDIO you can make VOLUME up to 2 tomes louder, than the original one.

all you have to do is open the wav file in quicktime, and go to movie propertis. find the sound file/volume option, and raise the volume to 200%. Then export the wav to a wav file. saving the file won't do the trick.

Do this once or twice and see what you like. worked for me!
