Video streaming

You could first start by saying where in the world you are, what operator you use, what settings does your operator say you should use & what your settings are now.

Basically i'd like someone on the uk o2 network to let me know what settings they're using. I've tried their cc and they keep giving me the gprs settings!

You can't use RealPlayer on any UK network for streaming. Period.

Also, if you're on O2 Pay As You Go, you can't stream video using any software. At all. Ever. 😞

If you're a contract customer though, you can use Oplayo.

I found a prog,called VDCR,(on handango.com),so using this prog,you can see LIVE video,from whole planet.

I rang O2 today to ask how to get the RealOne player working.

After persevering (the poor customer service rep admitted that they'd had no training on video streaming at all, and didn't really know what I was talking about) she asked around and founs someone who knew about it.

Apparently O2 are running a video streaming trial at present, with a closed user group. When this trial completes, they'll then *may* make plans to introduce it generally.
