I recently made a backup, and have located where it is stored on my computer, but nothing is showing up in archive manager. I also tried changing the data location, but it is still not showing up in archive manager.

Backup/Restore Problem

Does anyone know how to restore the contacts, when in the Archive Manager shows nothing, but you still have the files on computer. I think there is a problem once again with the Nokia PC Suite.
I am trying to manually restore the files, as in archive manage the Archive Menu on the toolbar going hoizontally has all the options greyed out.
Appreciate any help. I have tried Nokia, and they have not got back to me for over a week, even though I call them everyday. I will am so cheesed off with them. Will have to write to them regarding their poor service.

Well im sory, but i too experienced the same prob. and frankly, i havnt found a solution yet. Ive already given up hope on it and filled up 700++ of my contacts manualy from scratch!
I think its better that u make a backup in ur MMC rather in ur PC.
Its easier to restore from it & more compact! U can even move it back and forth or make copies to itself. jst dnt forget wer u put em! 😉
