i don't know what mrouter is but i'm using a bleutooth connection if this is any helpfull. can you give me some settings for the setup of remote60? or can you make a screenshot from your remcote60 setup screen?
Use 3650 like a webcam (GUIDE)
If you do not alter ANY of the settings in the remote s60 program, then all you need to do is establish a connection with bluetooth (just like when you want to use pc suite). after a connection, make sure the program installed on your phone is activated. then hit the "Start" button on the pc program. It should connect
i have made a connection just like you said and now i get this message. Is this on the right way to use remote60?
That is how mine looks, before I make a connection with the serial port.
On your desktop you should have a "my bluetooth places" icon. In there, there is a icon representing the bluetooth serial port. after creating a connection, you hit start in the pc s6 remote program and it should make a connection.
Remember the app on the phone has to be turned on. without that active, no connection will be established

i got it connected like you sayd but now i get this, remot60 is connected but but my phone is not displayed in the remote60 window. what did i do wrong?
From your screenshots I can see that you are using an older version.
I suggest you get the update.

It just had to be me to have problem in using my nokia 6600 as a webcam. I've read i'm sure almost all the threads to do with REMOTE S60 and Softcam. I've got the phone to connect to the pc, remote S60 on the pc says "listening" I hit start on the pc remote S60 and it says on the remote s60 " connect phone and start RS60", and i'm confused here as I though I was already connected. I open up softcam just to check if anything is happening there but nothing ! On Remote s60 for the pc 'Start' is the only button out of copy> save & key that is not greyed out. I d/l the demo remote s60 Home, I've got BT, the ports are the same for my bt and remote s60. :icon4:
thoes anyone know if there is some kind of program for Mac that thoes the same as remote60 and softcam... thanx in advance 😉
