Just says "working...." then a couple of seconds later "error".

Works fine here. Maybe you should update your video recorder. Maybe it can't convert 3gp files that has no sound. The old version of the recorder doesn't record sound..

I used the relevant version. 😊 3gp2 for my vid rec with sound. Maybe it has an issue with windows 2000 xp?

Sorry to say that this software is a royal piece of shit.
It's better to republish it when it's atleast nearly working. x

If you have the videos in a file
e.g. C:\videos
have the converter in the same folder. and remove the brackets from any videos like video(1).3gp so make it like Video1.3gp
then convert it to a folder like c:\videos\avis
or something it will work.

well thats what i did and it worked. before that i had the program on the desktop and the files with brackets.

hope it helps.

Guys its very very simple:

1: Put the converter into C:/ (dont know if for example D:/ will work)
2: Make a Hyperlink from this program and place it on your dekstop!
3: Put the *.3gp files also into C:/
4: Start up the program and search for the *.3gp into c:/
5: Type in a name for the *.avi movie
6: SAVE IT IN C:/!!!
7: Click convert
8: Voila you have now a *.avi file

as long as the program, original 3gp files and output files are in the same directory

I got it working when i put the application in the same folder as the input and output files. (i put it all to c:\)

But the files size was major... The 3gp file was 5,4MB - the avi file was 209MB :P

I put both the .3gp file and the converter in c:\ still get the compile error!

Any ideas

Just make sure there are no spaces in the paths!

For example C:/documents and setttings..... won`t work.
C:/MyVideos will.

When I downloaded it, and tried it, and copied the .3gp files to my C:\ drive, no brackets or anything, I click convert and - this error message shows up-
