Hi,
got a small problem with my .rm files. I used 'Helix Producer Basic 9', to convert an .avi to .rm. I didnt change ANY settings in there (sorry but i have NO knowledge of encoding), but the file seemed to convert successfully as i could view the newly converted .rm file on my computer. However, when i transferred it to my 3650, it said 'Unable to Play.'
The size of the file is only 661kb.
Any ideas why this is happening and what to do? I'd appreciate any help.

p.s. If its related to the encoding, then i'd appreciate instructions to what settings to use in Helix (or a link to instructions) on how to encode.
when you send it tp your phone is it going to the phone memory or the mmc? try sending it to the mmc :crazyeyes:

Can't say for sure but is prolly coz u can only save rm 9 and the phone only reads rm 8. U need HP pro to alter the codec...
do a search bro, there are loads of encoding guides on here.
you cant encode in real9, you need real8

Or RealProducer Basic 8.51 - I uploaded it to AAS user 'faquick' who posted the URL on the board. Do a search for it.

i have written there it was easylie?! to make 3gp files. it resize it automatically and u can choose the quality of the movie and of the sound.
