hey, domi! i used to have seleq on my phone but i'm now using your great program! 😃

with that outta the way, my question is this: how exactly do i use the set as operator logo function? my understanding is this: i use the browser to highlight an image file then choose set as operator logo. but when i highlight an image file, that option is gone. the option to "set as operator logo" only appears when i'm on the root. please enlighten me

Go to the C directory. Open the System folder. Open the Apps folder. Create a new folder called Phone. Then find an image you like somewhere in your phone (mine are in the images folder of the E directoy (the MMC directory). Using the cut and paste function of Fexplorer v. 1.10, cut/copy the image and past it into the new Phone folder you have created ( C:\System\Apps\Phone.) Select the picture after pasting it and then choose Set as Operator Logo from the File pulldown menu. It will then seet the logo and then reboot the phone. You can change it the same way. I am not sure how to go back to the original/default operator logo. Any ideas anyone?
just use the application called opman its the most easies way to put an operator logo. 😃
No need to install another program.

Just explore with FExplorer to the dir where your logo image is and select it, then go to menu and there select "Set as operator logo".

Logo image must be 97x25.

Why doesn't somebody post some good images to use as operator logos as mine are not very good since they are not the right size.

Thanks, anybody got any homemade or self made jpegs or gifs that can be used as operator logos--like that dour guy in Portugal, Tarantula, or whatever, uses on his avatar?

hey thanks guys! i finally got it working. i just had to scroll down the file menu to see "Set as operator logo" option. 😮ops:

here's an op logo of my fave model, Karolina Kurkova

The images that look best are Yahoo! and Windows XP when set as operator logos. Why anyone would want either of them as operator logos is beyond me. Since I am not on T-Mobile that would also be very strange for me to use it as an operator logo. J-F, why do I need or want another Nokia logo on my 3650? Please give me some better ideas for operator logos as you can see I am having a difficult time thinking for myself. 😃

I'm happy that it works !!
Normally, the 'set as operator logo' *MUST NOT* appears when the 'disks' are showed (it's a small bug), when you are on the file list, please go down deeply into the 'file menu' because there are more items in this menu that the screen can hold them - the 'set as operator logo' is the last item.

If you select a jpg or a gif file, it's automatically resized to fit the size of the oplogo, if you select a bmp file, no conversion is made (i.e. no resizing).

If you want to go back to the original oplogo, just go to the 'C:\\system\\apps\\phone\\oplogo\\' directory, delete any files in this directory and restart the phone - all can be done with FExplorer.

Hope this help,
Domi.
