Hi all, does any other o2 UK subscribers having problems downloading through gprs? Every time i try to download i get REPLY UNKNOWN? Are my settings incorrect? It's been doing my head in now for about a month. Please help

Do you have the correct settings?
What are you tring to download?
WAP or INTERNET?

Give us a bit more info bro and maybe we can help you 😉

You may find it's 'internet' rather than 'wap' access you need, in which case you need to call O2 and ask for GPRS INTERNET access to be added to your contract - they will then send you the correct settings..

Best

The chimpanzees at O2 Customer Support will have no idea what GPRS Internet is, instead, you must quote 'Mobile Web' 😉

Again, as Will said - only contract. Not Pay as you Go. They don't do Mobile Web (yet).

Yeah sorry i was a bit vague. Well my contract is set up for GPRS. I'm not too sure what you mean by internet or wap. I always used to be able to download applications via wap but now i can't. I'm trying to get file explorer 1.10 from my symbian.

O2 changed about a month or 2 ago, GPRS used to be WAP & INTERNET, but now is just WAP.
You need to call your customer services as advised and have it added to your account now. 😊

J2K - Thanks, is that what they are calling it! 😊
