Hi
I have tried to encode mp4 video and audio through Quicktime Pro 6.3 on my mac but only succeed in getting the video, no audio, no matter what settings i have used. I can only get sound by setting the audio export to speech, but this is nor very good. Anybody got any solutions?
You can export .mov (native QuickTime files) to .3gp files by just choosing the .3gp format from the pull-down menu. Both audio and video will be exported in this case. However, with mpeg files, only the video portion will be exported. There is a solution for this, involving a third-party application; however, I've forgotten the name of the application that allows you to do this. But hopefully, this will allow you refine your search/question.
