hello I was wondering if anybody knows about any freeware applications to have:
1. a TO DO list
2. a place to securely store all your passowords
3. a battery optimizer or monitoring software
I searched my-symbian with "to do", "todo", "private" and "battery" and nothing came up.
When I typed passwords I got one result but it was way more than I needed (sync with desktop etc) and not free...
There is Task application in P800 which you can use for To Do. As for Passwords i guess its the only one avaliable and its worth to pay if you are talking about "Passwords". Dun think there are any applications such as battery optimizer. Hope i have provided with enough information.
I've done the same search on passwords protecting programs and finally sort out to buy Handy Safe, which you mentioned and can be sync with PC Desktop.
I agree that it's worthwhile to pay some money if you need something really important. Otherwise, my suggestion will be enable your P800 screensaver with Device Lock. Then you will only need your Device Lock and have all information saved on your P800 (Jotter, To do list etc..)
I don't know how I could be so stupid to actually miss the Tasks application (if it is any excuse I had it hidden in a folder that wasn't beeing shown so I forgot about it!)... but it's all my fault
actually I wasn't talking about handy, but about another software (can't remember the name) which acts like the WAND button on Opera if you know what I mean...
thanks for the suggestions
No idea on which one you are talking about. Just certain that there is no free software for keeping passwords.
I choose Handy Safe just because a Desktop is also available so both my P800 and PC have the same program in sync and the protection that I want.
As remembered, Safe LE is the cheapest and provide similiar function (US$4...) 😉
